Exiting, delays, and failure

An exit depends on the project’s stage and the rights available under its terms.

Subscription remains cancellable	Cancel under the applicable terms	The deadline and refund source must be clear.
Project is active	Transfer to an eligible buyer or use a permitted market	There must be a buyer and an executable price.
Project offers a funded buyback	Tender under its published process	A buyback is limited by its funded reserve and allocation rules.
Milestone is delayed or disputed	Raise a concern and follow the review or resolution route	Lost trust alone cannot recreate construction money already spent.
Project is in default	Receive a share of recoveries under the payment order	Recovery can be delayed or less than the original investment.

The proposed baseline adds no Brikks penalty simply for leaving early. A holder may still bear disclosed transaction charges, market spread, and a loss from the available sale price. A reservation cancellation is governed by its separate property purchase terms. The application should show whether a concern paused treasury payments, new orders, transfers, or none of those. A project cannot claim to stop trading in an external market unless it actually controls that function.
